Ways to connect O-ring Chains Remarks to connect standard O-ring Chains

1.A connecting link of an O-ring Chain for standard application is pre-coated with grease at the pins. Just before connection, confirm the grease to the surfaces of pins, and if the amount of grease is little, apply grease with bare hands. (If gloves are used, the grease is going to be absorbed by the gloves.)
Illustration: When the connecting hyperlink (I) of an O-ring chain for general application is
shipped, O-rings are fitted on the roots from the pins. If the O-rings come loose as a result of vibration for the duration of transport, refit the O-rings in towards the roots from the pins.
In this case, you’ll want to return the grease collected in the roots with the pins to your central surfaces from the pins, extra at portion A than at portions B shown during the above illustration. (Portions A is worn as a result of sliding using the bushings.)
2.The chain can be most very easily connected over the teeth of a sprocket. Engage the back links at the two ends with the chain with the sprocket teeth and fit connecting pins. In the event the sprocket is often moved, the chain may also be linked around the loosened side.
3. Connecting process
one.Confirm that O-rings are connected to the roots of your pins.
two.In the event the level of grease utilized about the connecting pins is modest, coat the pins with grease in the central portions.
3.Insert the connecting pins into the bushings of your inner links at both ends.
4.Verify the grease is applied to your entire face with the O-ring, and fit the O-ring onto the connecting pins.
5.Insert the connecting pins to the connecting plate and although pressing the connecting plate, install the spring clip. Verify irrespective of whether the head (the end with no split) in the spring clip is turned in the feeding route of the chain. (See the following illustration.)
six.Make sure to verify that the spring clip is securely fitted inside the clip grooves of your connecting pins.
This completes jointing in the connecting hyperlink. Note that grease within the surfaces of connecting pins and O-rings is often eliminated throughout set up work. In this instance, re-grease applying the grease on the surface in the base chain or even the grease in the polyethylene bag through which the connecting link was contained.
